Yeah, I only figured it was tannerite because of the amount taken from the impact along with how it didn't manage to damage either the sledgehammer or the metal plate they were striking.

Those are some pretty crazy bastards out that way. I don't think I would have the balls to try something like that without better protection than sunglasses and handkerchief.

Those explosives contain some Primary, i don't think Tannerite is that sensitive, since it's composition is Ammonium NItrate + Ammonium perchlorate, i could be wrong, but those explosives seem to go off very easily, indicating it's a sensitive primary.
